Dehesa de la Serna is the organic beef farm that my wife runs on behalf of her family. The property is amazing. It has 300 acres of holm oak forest as well as crops, pasture and a 16th century house that used to belong to the brother of Santa Teresa of Avila.
We are starting to use it as a venue for interesting gatherings, like the Praxis Reading Weekend. This year, I will be putting a fair amount of energy into exploring what might be possible there.
If you are curious and want to know more, or have an idea about how you might use it, let me know – the project is at that wonderfully plastic stage where an enormous number of things are possible.
The photo shows some of the outbuildings with the sun setting over the Valle de Ambles. There are lots more inspirational photos on La Serna’s own site here. And you can see the aerial film we made of it here.
